FINE VIKING MAN’S RING C.850-1050 AD, SIZE 10 09/26/2023 size 7 ¾ with 2Gilt bronze, of heavy proportions. Size 10 with 2. 7mm deeply rounded band expanding dramatically to the depressed medial lenticular top or bezel. The medial with a series of seven punches or dots from one side to just past the middle indicating that they were a tally of some sort, inscribed one at a time. Perhaps marking voyages or even kills. A well documented form but the only actual example we have encountered. The surface lightly textured from
